The Chisinau City Hall launched again the international tender contest to purchase 100 new buses. The contest announcement was published on the platform “achizitii.md” and is to be published in the Official Journal of the European Union. The tender contest will last for 35 days, IPN reports.
The results of the first tender contest held in 2020 were annulled.
The new buses must be 12 meters long and must be outfitted with surveillance systems inside and outside and with air conditioning systems. The environmental class of the vehicles must be minimum Euro 5.
The consignment of buses is to be delivered to Chisinau during six months of the signing of the purchase contract.
The 100 new buses are to be bought at a cost of at most 270 million lei.
