The Moldovan energy plants repair their technical equipment. The Government will allocate 135 million lei in this respect. The reparation works at CET- 1, CET-2 and CET-Nord electro-thermal plants run according to the schedule. Still, there are problems at SA Termocom (Chisinau heat supplier), the first deputy premier, Igor Dodon, told the Governmental commission on bettering the situation in the energy complex on June 30, Info-Prim Neo reports. Termocom's problems are related to the fact that the heat charges have not been updated, Economy and Trade Minister Dodon says. The last initiative in this respect was to invite an independent expert from Sweden, with the contribution of the World Bank, to establish the real situation of Termocom and to determine the real cost of the thermal energy, and, respectively, the amount of the charge for final consumers. Dionisie Antocel, Termocom's manager, told the commission that the Chisinau City Hall does not want to pay the subventions for heating for the poor people. “The question is about 217 million lei, that the City Hall has, because the incomes into the municipal budget exceeded the expectations last year and this year,” Antocel said. The City Hall representative did not attend the sitting. Local Public Administration Minister, Valentin Guznac, informed on the coal reserves in territories, mentioning that from the needed 36,000 tonnes 95 % have already been agreed to be bought. Guznac has said all the administrative-territorial units has started to repairs schools, and to check up the heating systems in subordinated entities. Ion Turcanu, the chief of the Material Reserves, Humanitarian Aid and Public Acquisitions agency has said 45 tenders have already been unfolded to select 18 coal suppliers. The price of a tonne of coal is 2,400 lei. The Finance Minister, Mariana Durlesteanu, has specified 1,5 billion lei have been earmarked for the heating season. She deems to be a problem the situation of some budgetary entities who owe the budget 7 million lei for the last winter, as the Chisinau budgetary institutions owe 1.5 million. Premier Zinaida Greceanai has asked to present the list of the debtor-entities in the Government's sitting on Wednesday, July 2, together with the updated draft decision concerning the fall-winter season.
