The people can contact the Chisinau City Hall through the central municipal dispatcher’s office on (022) 22-22-67 to inform about problems caused by the snowfall or related to the city’s networks, IPN reports.
The municipality calls on the Chisinau residents not to use the personal vehicles, if possible, and to travel by public units of transport so as to prevent the creation of traffic jams. At night, road workers removed the snow from the main arteries and the access roads suburban settlements. The inclined streets, especially Ganea, Timis, Postei, Vadul lui Voda, Paris, Causeni and Uzinelor bystreet, are closed when it snows heavily.
As the snow continues to fall and diminishes the effect of the cleanup works, the Chisinau City Hall calls on the economic entities and housing stock managers to clean the sidewalks and the areas they administer and to remove the icicles.
