Chisinau authorities will consider offering roof to family of triplets

The Belitei family and their newly-born triplet babies could soon receive an apartment from the city authorities, after they got 10,000 lei in financial support last week. At the registering ceremony for the triplet babies – Alexandru, Cezar and David – which took place on October 3 at the Botanica Register Office, Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca promised the family full support in solving their dwelling problem. The babies are now staying with their mother at the maternity of the Mother & Child Centre in Chisinau, because they don’t have a home of their own yet. Sergiu Polihovici, head of the Mayor General’s Office, stated at Monday’s City Hall meeting that a three-room apartment belonging to the public housing sector has been already identified and, following specific legal procedures, will be proposed to the family.
