After several hours of debates, the Chisinau City Appeals Court adjourned until June 12 the examination of the challenges filed by political parties against the Central Election Commission’s decision concerning the number of polling stations abroad, IPN reports.

According to the information placed on the court’s website, two requests to replace judges of the Chisinau City Appeals Court were examined on June 11, but they were both rejected.

This way, the judges will come together again today, starting at 1pm.

The CEC decided to establish 146 polling stations outside the country. The election runners “Renato Usatîi” Bloc, PPPDA PAS, PUN and AUR disputed the number as insufficient. Two days ago, representatives of the given parties mounted a protest in front of the Chisinau City Appeals Court.
