The Chisinau International Airport is now working as usual. The passengers and airport staff are safe, the Border Police said in a press release, quoted by IPN.
"Regarding the fire alarm, which started ringing inside the Chisinau International Airport, the Border Police inform that the alert turned out to be a false one," reads the press release.
The Chisinau Electric Transport Company said that the circulation of trolleybuses No. 30 was restored. Delays of up to 15 minutes are witnessed on routes.
The fire alarm system at the Chisinau International Airport started working on Friday morning and all the people inside the terminal were evacuated. During checks, firefighters and rescuers did not detect any source of burning. The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations said that no one was hurt.
