Children with disabilities and people with severe disabilities from childhood will also be entitled to a caregiver's allowance or survivor's pension. The provisions are contained in a draft law approved by the government on Wednesday, IPN reports.
"These people receive a monthly disability allowance, but if their breadwinner dies, they cannot receive the disability allowance and survivor's pension at the same time," said Labor and Social Protection Minister Alexei Buzu.
The approved draft law will change the situation by keeping both payments. It must also be passed by parliament to enter into force.
