The professors of higher education institutions with financial autonomy will be remunerated in the same way as the teaching staff of budget-funded universities. On November 16, the Cabinet approved amendments and supplements to a Government decision of March 13, 2013, IPN reports.
The monthly salary in budget-funded universities was raised by 8.6% from September 1, 2016. The minimum guaranteed salary oscillates between 2,955 and 6,710 lei, depending on the post held and the rank.
The bonuses for seniority will be provided by the institutions with financial autonomy in accordance with their financial possibilities.
