One of the three ministers who were withdrawn from the lists of candidates for MP last week resumed campaigning for the November 30 parliamentary elections on November 10. The Central Election Commission (CEC) re-included Natalia Gherman on the list of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), at the request of the party, IPN reports.
In accordance with the electoral legislation, while Natalia Gherman will be involved in the election campaign, she will not hold the post of Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. Natalia Gherman was the fourth in the PLDM’s list of candidates.
Last week, Natalia Gherman and Democratic ministers Pavel Filip and Vasile Botnari withdrew from the lists in order to ensure the quorum at the November 7 meeting of the Cabinet. The ministers of the Democratic Party weren’t yet re-included in the list of candidates.
The election runners can ask modifying the list of candidates until November 22 inclusively.
