Chances of forming center-right alliance are greater, analyst

The fact that the leader of the PDM Marian Lupu no more carries out talks with the administration of the PCRM can mean abandonment of the bilateral discussions and thus the chances of forming a center-right alliance are greater, considers political analyst Vitalie Catana. The expert has told Info-Prim Neo that the formation of the ruling alliance may be announced by December 28. In the first sitting of the Parliament, much will depend on the behavior of a possible center-right coalition. “The PLDM, PDM, PL should avoid difficulties in the first sitting that will be chaired by Vladimir Voronin. They should be prepared and have a well thought out plan so that everything goes smoothly,” said the political analyst. According to Vitalie Catana, the trilateral meeting that will take place today will most probably center on the distribution of the key posts in the new government. After the fifth round of talks on Monday evening, the leaders of the PLDM, PL and PDM announced that the next trilateral meeting will take place on Tuesday, starting at 3pm.
