The visitors of the Chisinau Sports Festival 2024, which will take place on June 8 in “La Izvor” Park, will have a unique opportunity to interact with the champions who will represent Moldova at the Olympic Games Paris 2024, IPN reports.

The General Division of Education, Youth and Sports of Chisinau said the Festival is a unique opportunity to interact with elite athletes and learn from the best. Among the guests of the event are Anastasia Nikita, Irina Rîngaci and Mariana Draguțan – the most remarkable fighters of Moldova. With international medals and top performances, they are role models for all the young athletes aspiring to excellence in women’s wrestling.

Victor Ciobanu and Valentin Petic, who bring the tradition and craftsmanship of Greco-Roman wrestling, will also be present at the Festival. These world-renowned athletes have proven that perseverance and determination are the keys to success in this demanding sport. The visitors will also be able to interact with athletes Sergey Tarnovschi, Daniela Cociu and Maria Olărașu – Moldova’s kayak-canoe stars. Their impressive performances on the water earned them numerous medals and international recognition.

Another guest of the event archery expert Dan Olaru, who represents the elegance and precision of this sport. His rich experience and achievements at international competitions make him an ideal mentor for all those interested in archery.

“Marin Robu, a remarkable talent in weightlifting, continues to raise the standards in this sport through his exceptional strength and technique. Alisa Glinka, in horseback riding, brings the passion and discipline needed to excel in this noble sport. She is an example of elegance and performance for all the young riders. Anna Dulce, shooting expert, proves that concentration and calm are essential for success in this high-precision sport,” said the Division of Education, Youth and Sports of Chisinau.

The visitors could also meet Zalina Marghieva, champion in hammer throw, who combines strength and technique to achieve impressive performances. She is the inspiration for all those who want to develop their skills in athletics.

The Festival will involve students of sports schools of Chisinau, amateur and professional athletes, champions at national and international tournaments, coaches and representatives of sports federations.

The event is organized by the Chisinau City Hall in cooperation with the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports. “Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the best athletes and let yourself be inspired by their dedication and success,” said the organizers.
