Chamber of Commerce and Industry Moldova-China to stage mission to international exhibition in China

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Moldova-China is organizing a mission to the international wine culture and tourism expo that will take place in Ningxia region of the People’s Republic of China during June 8-12. The organizers of the event in China offer the Moldovan exhibitors free places and basic stands. In parallel, an international wine conference will be held during June 9-10 and this will be attended by a Moldovan government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry.

In a news conference hosted by IPN, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Moldova-China Boris Foca said the conference will involve high-ranking government officials, experts, scientists and representatives of the business communities of countries that are the most important winemakers of the world. The event is staged in concert with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China, the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV), the local government. It is expected that this will be one of the most ambitious and influential events in the winemaking sector the last few years.

The international wine culture and tourism expo will be held in parallel with this event. “We, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Moldova-China, together with the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Moldova and with support from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Chisinau and Moldova’s Embassy in Beijing, want to stage this mission for all the companies that want to take part in the exhibition to be able to registrar during the next few days,” stated Boris Foca.

He noted that the delegation will include a coordinator of the Chamber of Commerce, who will take care of everything that is necessary at the scene. “Besides the exhibition, there will be an additional program that will include visits to national producers and also particular tourist visits in the region. We will ensure interpretation into and from English, Romanian, Russia, Chinese,” said Boris Foca.

The president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Moldova-China also said that Ningxia, Yinchuan, is an autonomous region in northwest China. It focuses on winegrowing and winemaking.

During May 1-5, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Moldova-China organized an economic mission to the Canton Import & Export Fair that was held in Guangzhou, the People’s Republic of China.
