The Chisinau City Hall has announced temporary traffic restrictions in connection with the launch of festivities dedicated to the winter holidays. As of Saturday morning, public transport will no longer cross the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau, IPN reports.
The section of Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt Blvd between the streets Mitropolit G. Bănulescu-Bodoni and A. Pushkin will be inaccessible to vehicle traffic until Monday morning, 05:00 a.m.
The public transport, namely trolleybuses No. 1, 4, 5, 8, 22, and 34, and buses No. 5, 9, 11, 26, and 46, will be diverted to adjoining streets.
The cultural events in the central square of Chisinau mark the beginning of the holiday season and are aimed at creating a festive atmosphere for residents and visitors.
