The Central Electoral Commission has compiled the results of the November 3 presidential elections and declared them valid. The election was won by PAS candidate Maia Sandu, who was declared President-elect of Moldova.

Thus, according to the minutes of the tabulation of the results of the presidential elections of November 3 adopted by the CEC, out of the 1,680,569 valid votes cast, 930,139 were obtained by the current president, Maia Sandu, supported by the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), and 750,430 votes were obtained by the former Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo, supported by the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM).

The CEC report also shows that 1,699,945 voters or 54.31% of the total number of eligible citizens registered on the electoral rolls turned out to vote.

More than 328,855 voters voted in the 231 polling stations set up in the diaspora, which represents the highest number of voters since the organization of elections abroad, which also ensured Maia Sandu's victory, while Alexandr Stoianoglo won the majority of votes on the territory of Moldova.

At their meeting on November 9, CEC members also approved the report on the results of the organization and conduct of the presidential elections of October 20 and November 3 and will submit it to the Constitutional Court for validation, which has 10 days to examine it and decide on the confirmation of the results of the elections and the validation of the presidential mandate.
