According to the CEC, after the expiry of the time reserved for voting, the vote counting results are included in a report that must be signed by all members of the electoral bureau of the polling station. The district electoral councils have 48 hours after the closing of polling stations to submit to the Commission the minutes on the tabulation of election results by constituency. Under the Electoral Code, these electoral documents constitute a legal basis for totaling the results of the presidential election.

At this stage, the minutes of all 2,219 electoral bureaus of polling stations and 37 of electoral district electoral councils are being checked. They will be then scanned and posted on the Commission's website.

The Central Election Commission must centralize the voting results within five days.
