The Central Election Commission has assigned the MP mandates to the electoral contenders elected in uninominal constituencies no.17, 33, 48 and 50, at the new parliamentary elections on October 20, IPN reports.
In uninominal constituency no. 17, Nisporeni town, the elected candidate is Ghenadie Verdeș from the Democratic Party, while in uninominal constituency no. 33, Chisinau municipality - Vasile Năstase, the candidate of „ACUM, DA Platform and PAS” Electoral Bloc. In uninominal constituency no. 48, Slobozia town, Tiraspol and Bender municipalities, the PSRM candidate Vitalii Evtodiev was elected whereas in uninominal constituency no. 50, west of the Republic of Moldova - the candidate of „ACUM, DA Platform and PAS” Electoral Bloc Galina Sajin.
At the same meeting, the Report on the results of the snap parliamentary elections of October 20, 2019 has been approved. It describes the actions taken by the CEC to organize the parliamentary elections in the four uninominal constituencies. The report will be sent to the Constitutional Court for the validation of mandates assigned to the elected MPs.
According to CEC Secretary, Maxim Lebedinschi, the Constitutional Court could make a ruling next week.
