CEC approves model and final order of contestants on presidential election ballot

The ballot paper for the presidential election of October 20 will be almost 32 centimeters long and 14 centimeters wide. The Central Election Commission (CEC) on Wednesday approved the model and text of the ballot, IPN reports.

CEC chairwoman Angelica Caraman said that for the first round of voting, the ballot will be printed on opaque smoke gray paper, while for the runoff on opaque steel blue paper.

The order of the election contestants on the ballot paper will be as follows:

1. Alexandr Stoianoglo, Party of Socialists;
2. Maia Sandu, Party of Action and Solidarity;
3. Renato Usatyi, Our Party;
4. Vasile Tarlev, Party for the Future of Moldova;
5. Irina Vlah, independent candidate;
6. Ion Chicu, Party of Consolidation and Development;
7. Andrei Năstase, independent candidate;
8. Octavian Țîcu, “Together” Electoral Bloc;
9. Victoria Furtună, independent candidate;
10. Tudor Ulianovschi, independent candidate;
11. Natalia Morari, independent candidate.
