The Central Election Commission (CEC) on May 12 accredited 68 persons as national observers on behalf of the public association “Promo-LEX” for overseeing the snap parliamentary elections of July 11, 2021, IPN reports.
CEC vice president Vladimir Șarban said there were examined all the aspects referring to these persons, including previous practice.
The head of Promo-LEX’s Election Observation Mission Pavel Postica said these persons are mainly the mission’s core team and long-term observers. This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, they will stage seminars to train these persons. Next Monday, the observers will start the monitoring activity at local level.
