As from May 14 until June 11, those who want to run in the snap parliamentary elections of July 11 can submit the required documents to the Central Election Commission (CEC) situated at 119 V. Alecsandri St from Monday through Friday, between 9am and 4pm. On the last day of submissions, documents will be accepted until 5pm. A decision to this effect was taken by the CEC by six votes in favor on May 12, IPN reports.
CEC member Sergiu Gurduza proposed including the days of Saturday and Sunday in the program for accepting documents, but the proposal was short of votes.
In the meeting, the CEC members set up the draw committee that will decide the order of candidates on the ballot.
