Young specialists from the educational sector will enjoy state concessions for a period of five years, not for three years as up to now. The Cabinet approved amendments to the Education Code to improve the educational system at all levels, IPN reports.

There were introduced new obligations for parents and other legal representatives of students in a move to counteract acts of violence and intimidation in educational institutions, especially those aimed at teachers.

In general education, the quality of psychopedagogical services will be improved by adding these to the category of structural subdivisions of the National Psychopedagogical Assistance Center.

In vocational education, the changes include the transfer of the post of social teacher to the category of teaching duties and the introduction of the post of support teacher. Also, the professional Baccalaureate will be excluded and only the qualification exam will be mandatory.

In higher education, provisions will be introduced to create preconditions for attracting practitioners from the military, arts, sport and IT sectors to student halls and dual education will become available for the first time.
