Foreign investors will receive IDNP (personal code of the beneficiary) from a distance without needing to come to Moldova. This way, a business could be started and managed without the person entering the country. Also, the citizens from the diaspora and foreign investors could use remotely the existing digital platforms and the platforms that will be launched. This is provided in a bill that was given a final reading by Parliament, IPN reports.
Notarial documents could be obtained remotely, in electronic form, except for a list of particular notarial documents. Also, some of the public service providers will be obliged to make available on their websites information, data and published applications in English.
Foreign citizens could be employed without needing to obtain residence and work permits. The foreigners who will do work according to the proposed procedure will be exempted from paying state social insurance contributions and health insurance premiums for foreigners. The social and health insurance in this case will be paid in the state of residence so as to avoid double taxation. The foreigners will be able to ask for a work permit in advance, online.
