The business entities with a high natural gas consumption in the production process can already benefit from state subsidies for January-March 2022. They must submit an application through the Unified Electronic Reporting One-Stop Shop, IPN reports.
PAS MP Radu Marian wrote on Facebook that the subsidy represents 100% of the difference in the regulated prices of natural gas following the increasing of natural gas rates, but will not be higher than 1.5 million lei per consumer. The first 500 m3 of gas consumed each month are exclude from the subsidy as this amount is paid directly through bills.
Subsides are provided to non-household consumers that purchase gas from natural gas supplies and whose payments for the monthly consumed natural gas, without VAT, represents at least 5% of the sales the previous month.
The subsides are intended for businesses that grow vegetables, keep fowl, process and can fruit and vegetables, make dairy products, flour, bread and cakes, animal fodder, carpets and clothing, except for articles made from fir, leather goods etc.
