One of the most famous British conductors, Crispin Ward, together with the National Chamber Orchestra will hold two concerts in the Organ Hall from Chisinau. The action is organized by the British Embassy and „Crimson Capital”. According to a press release of the British Embassy, Crispin Ward is a British citizen by birth and a citizen and Homo Emeritus of Moldova by virtue of his enormous contribution to the development of local music, recognized by Moldovan Presidential Decree. Mr. Ward comes back to Moldova once again to “bring closer two corners of the European continent in the kingdom of music”. In a variation of Mozart’s Magic Flute, Ward highlights the true virtues of the human spirit, which transcend all national borders and announces that love and friendship are the fundamental pillars of human existence that guide and support our hopes and ideals. The Great Britain Ambassador, John Beyer, is delighted that the British Embassy is the host of Mr. Ward’s “Magic Flute” performance in Chisinau. “The fact that we have a Moldovan and British citizen conducting on the stage of the Chisinau Organ Hall speaks for itself. Tonight and tomorrow’s event is a clear indication of the wonderful cultural and social ties that our two countries enjoy and I am looking forward to further deepening this relationship”, underlined British Ambassador John Beyer. The event led by Crispin Ward is scheduled for Wednesday, September 20 and Thursday, September 21 at 18:00 in the Organ Hall, Chisinau.
