After Minister of Defense Eugen Sturza announced he had discussions with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization on the holding of a joint military exercise on Moldova’s territory, we can presume that some of the participants in the election campaign are already in trenches, ready to prevent their opponents from entering Parliament with the assistance of “imperialist” tanks.

It is clear that impostor Vadim Krasnoselski from Tiraspol will consult Moscow about his subsequent steps. Now he says he does not find it opportune to have the meeting that was preliminarily scheduled for this December with President Igor Dodon. According to him, the problems discussed in the 5+2 format talks and by the working groups are not within the remit of the President of Moldova and it is thus no use discussing them with Igor Dodon. By the way, as regards the President’s powers… the “boy” is aware of the laws of the country where he lives.

Contacted by IPN to obtain a reaction from the presidential institution, the President’s spokesman Maxim Lebedinski, presidential adviser on justice and institutional relations, said he cannot comment on the given statements made by the Transnistrian leader because Igor Dodon is not in the country and a comment in his absence is not appropriate. Nothing can be done here. They pretend it is raining...

Even if its’s raining, don’t accept presents on the day prior to the election day! If the “silence” day is annulled in elections, political corruption will be legalized at practical level because the representatives of the power will unrestrictedly walk on the streets and l offer presents and money and will say that this is electoral agitation, consider the member of the Standing Political Bureau of the Party “Action and Solidarity” Sergiu Litvinenko. Secretary general  of the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” Kiril Moțpan said not all the aspects of the problem were taken into account. “I fear this permission will antagonize society even more that day. I don’t know what the goal of our governors is, but even if they have a good intention, they are no longer credible,” he stated.

In the created situations, president of the National Unity Party Anatol Șalaru said the PUN could not take part in elections, but would support the bloc of the Party “Action and Solidarity” and the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth”. “For us, it is important not to have three MPs, but to prevent the Party of Socialists from winning the parliamentary elections and the current government from returning to power after the elections,” stated Anatol Șalaru.

The politician said he rejected Vitalia Pavlichenko’s invitation to form an alliance with a number of unionist parties because the idea of constituting this platform was formulated by Vladimir Plahotniuc with the aim of creating a unionist pole that would steal votes, but would not enter Parliament.

Maia Sandu also aims to cross the mined field without losses when she says the filters of the future bloc will show who can be blackmailed and who can be easier coopted by particular persons, who is not afraid of anything and cannot be blackmailed and will not betray the voters.

At the same time, the PAS leader said the future electoral bloc is ready to support a candidate of another political party than that of the PAS/PPPDA only if this candidate passes the integrity and meritocracy tests. The best candidate who will go through the set filters and will be able to compete with the opponents will be supported in single-member constituencies.

Even if his term in office is close to an end, Prime Minister Pavel Filip promises the budget-funded employees will have higher pays and the current salary system will be reformed so as to ensure a continuous rise in the incomes of salary earners. “The document (draft law on the unitary salary system in the budgetary sector – e.n.) will contribute to creating a transparent, equitable and attractive salary system that will remunerate the professional performance of employees from each area of activity,” stated the Premier.

Moldova grows due to higher exports to Europe: an analysis shows that after four years of implementation of the DCFTA, the European Union became the most important and reliable commercial partner for Moldovan producers. €2 of €3 won from Moldova’s exports comes now from the EU, as opposed to €1 of €2 in 2014, which is a net growth of about €367 million in exports.

Attending the event, EU Ambassador to Moldova Peter Michalko said the Free Trade Agreement is an important element of the Association Agreement with the EU not only in terms of export growth, but also in terms of investments and created jobs.

...And also of opportunities, as it was stated in the national conference “Youth policies and services for each young person in Moldova” that was held in connection with the National Youth Day.

UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Moldova Dafina Gercheva said the young people represent an important part of the country’s population, about one third, and they are those who determine Moldova’s transformation into a modern and prosperous state. “The young people need investments and increased support from the central and local authorities, civil society and the private sector so as to develop their skills and to effetely take part and contribute to the country’s development so that no one is excluded,” stated the official.

The European Banking Authority (EBA) added the National Bank of Moldova (NBM) to the list of non-EU country supervisory authorities, whose confidentiality regimes can be regarded as equivalent to those included in the EU Capital Requirements Directive (CRDIV). It’s a pity that the “Authority of Citizens of Moldova” (“ACM”) hasn’t yet recovered after the theft of the US$ 1 billion and cannot fully enjoy this and other results achieved by the NBM.
