Vitalie Bordian is on trial at Metalist Kharkov for which he had played during eight years. The Moldovan fullback had played for 20 minutes in the friendly against the Czech team Pribram, which ended by 0-0, IPN reports.
Bordian remained without a team after Veris withdrew from the National Division. His year of glory was 2008, when he was named the best Moldovan footballer. He then played for Metalist in the UEFA Cup. Bordian won bronze four times with Kharkov in the championship of Ukraine.
The 30-year-old player was invited to play for the national team of Moldova in the friendlies against Romania and Kazakhstan, set for February 14 and February 18 respectively.
