The border crossing point “Soroca-Tsekinovka”, situated on the Moldovan-Ukrainian border, was closed on a temporary basis following the formation of ice bridges over the Nistru Prut, IPN reports.
The Border Police call on the participants in the transfrontier traffic that intend to cross the border through the mentioned point to choose other checkpoints located nearby and recommend avoiding travelling to or crossing Ukraine in connection with the unfavorable weather conditions and the uncertain situation on a number of national and international roads.
All the border crossing points work as usual, except for those situated on the southeastern border, where traffic was disrupted.
On the Moldovan-Romanian border, all the border crossing points are functional.
