A 35-year-old man who was riding a bike in the village of Grigorauca, Soroca, died after being hit by a car driven by someone without a driving license.
Police said the unlicensed driver, 41, also from Soroca, failed to keep a safe distance when passing the bicyclist.
The driver, who was found to be sober, is now under investigation.
