The children diagnosed with cancer, who are treated at the Oncological Institute in Chisinau, will enjoy better treatment conditions after the pediatric oncology/hematology section will be modernized, IPN reports.

The Romanian Association “Dăruiește Aripi” provided the medical institution’s administration with a free feasibility study for the renovation and modernization of this section. This way, the Association offers support to Moldovan children diagnosed with cancer, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova noted in a press release.

The handover ceremony involved Senator Nicoleta Pauliuc, Romania’s Ambassador to Moldova Cristian-Leon Țurcanu and Minister of Health Ala Nemerenco, who thanked the representatives from Romania for the support and said that the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Moldova will allocate resources for implementing the project to modernize the section and, respectively, to create better conditions for the small patients receiving treatment, for their parents and carers.
