The best employees of the Civic Protection and Emergencies Service who had a good performance in 2015 were awarded diplomas at a gala staged by the Service’s administration on February 5, IPN reports.
The rescuers and firefighters were awarded for successful operations to save lives, while the SMURD employees for providing qualified aid in situations of risk. Besides, the Service’s administration awarded the administrative authorities that contributed to the efficient management of emergencies in 2015. The Service’s head Mihail Harabagiu thanked the personnel for their sacrifice and for the saved lives.
Within the event, there were nominated the best employees in intervention and prophylaxis and the safest and most reliable partners, including NGOs and journalists. Deputy Minister of the Interior Oleg Babin said the people’s confidence in rescuers rose to 85% owing to the abnegation and devotion to work of these.
The event involved rescuers, firefighters, frogmen, psychologists, representatives of administrative authorities, journalists and others.
