Several film projects will receive financial support from the state budget. Thus, the National Center of Cinematography announces that as of today it is possible to submit applications for funding. The budget allocated for this purpose is 10 million lei, IPN reports.
The funding will be available for several sections: feature-length fiction, feature-length documentary, minority co-production, short fiction, short documentary, development and post-production.
The biggest sum, 3 million lei, goes to feature-length fiction, followed by feature-length documentary and minority co-production, each of which will receive 1 million lei. The other projects will get 300 thousand, 200 thousand and 100 thousand lei.
The competition is organized in two stages. In the first stage, the creative file is submitted and evaluated by a Commission, while in the second stage, those who pass the first stage must submit the technical file within 15 days from the date of publication of the results of the first stage of the competition.
The submission period is February 3 to March 11, 2025.
