Igor Beșleagă and Alexandr Romanov won the bronze medal at the Kazakhstan World Grappling Championship.
Beșleagă won 3 victories in the 77 kg weight category against Ukrainian Dmytro Netkachev, Israeli Omer Emanueli and Romanian Aurel Pirtea, while being defeated in the semifinals by Kazakh Azamat Bakytov.
In turn, Alexandr Romanov competed in the +100 kg weight category and won against the Romanian Anatolie Ciumac and Kyrgyzstan Oibek Kokiev. He lost in the semi-finals to Lithuanian Denisas Sokolas.
