Belgium to join Common Visa Issuing Center in Chisinau

The Moldovan citizens can apply for short-stay visas for Belgium to the Common Visa Issuing Center houses by the Hungarian Embassy in Chisinau from October 1, 2009, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the Mass Media and Public Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. The Ministry was informed that the procedures allowing Belgium to join the Common Visa Issuing Center in Chisinau have been completed. The Center now issues visas for Hungary, Austria, Denmark, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Sweden, Iceland, and Luxemburg. Early next year, the Center will be joined by Switzerland and Greece. Talks are now being carried out with Croatia and Slovakia.
