Basco Balti has qualified for the final of the national basketball championship. The team trained by Alexandru Shestopal beat BC Rybnitsa in three matches, IPN reports.
Basco won the last match played in Rybnitsa by 83-62. Vladimir Kolesnikov scored 22 points, while
Eugen Tkachenko 21 points for the winning team. In the other semifinal, Gamma Cahul leads by 2-1 in the legs against Speranta Chisinau.
In the women’s competition, CS Politeh won the first match against ASEM 63-50 and needs one more victory to qualify for the final. In the second semifinal, Sangerei meets the team of the Sports School of Causeni.
