Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, said that the 10,000 ballots distributed to the two polling stations in Moscow have not been exhausted, IPN reports.

"Even if we offered two extra hours (of voting). This myth about the exhaustion of ballot papers has not come true," Mihai Popșoi told the press, saying that all reported violations will be analyzed.

The minister thanked all the citizens who mobilized in an exemplary way and voted in the October 20 election. "The positive result we achieved was appreciated not only here, in the country, but also by all international partners, who congratulated the Republic of Moldova and the people of the Republic of Moldova on this good result,” said Deputy Prime Minister Popșoi.

In total, 10,000 ballots were sent to the Russian Federation, by 5,000 for each of the two polling stations. On election day, the stations’ program was extended by two hours and circulated images showed huge queues there. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Moldova issued a statement saying that the crowds at the two polling stations in Russia were artificially created.
