The authorities determined that the volume of seeds stored for spring sowing – 38,000 tonnes – is sufficient. 88% of the quantities have been checked and certified, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the presidential press service. The 2009 agricultural year is averagely ensured with humidity so that the conditions for sowing spring plants are favorable, the communiqué says. The lack of markets and circulatory means, the reduced possibilities of agricultural producers taking out banks loans and processing companies’ debts to suppliers of raw material are reasons for concern, the quoted source says. The agricultural producers still do not have money to purchase oil products, fertilizers, phytosanitary products and seeding material needed to carry out the spring works.
