Moldova’s best footballer Artur Ionita returned to the field after suffering an injury in the inguinal region. The halfback played again for Hellas Verona after a pause of almost two months, IPN reports.

Ionita played for 15 minutes in the match against Atalanta, which his team won by 1-0 owing to the goal scored by Javier Saviola. The player of the national football team of Moldova replaced Greek footballer Christodoulopoulos. “Those who entered the field after the break improved the game. We should not forget that Ionita was sidelined by an injury and didn’t play for two months,” said the coach of Hellas Verona Andrea Mandorlini.

Artur Ionita is the first Moldovan playing in the championship of Italy. So far he played 13 matches in Series A and scored two goals. Hellas is yet the 14th after 20 games played.
