Companies are invited to register their brands and products in the competition for the title of "Trademark of the Year" and “Product and Service Quality Achievements Award" for 2024. The assessment will be carried out on the basis of an opinion poll among consumers and an analysis conducted by experts, IPN reports.

Registration is possible until March 28, and files can be submitted by April 9. The winners will be announced at the "Moldovan Business Gala 2025" in June.

The announcement was made at a press conference organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the State Agency on Intellectual Property and other institutional partners. According to the organizers, these competitions have an essential role in promoting local brands and in stimulating investments in quality and innovation.

"The competitions ensure important recognition for companies that invest in quality and development", said the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergiu Harea.

According to him, the increase in the number of registered brands in recent years shows that the business community in Moldova is becoming more and more aware of the importance of intellectual property protection.

The "Trademark of the Year" contest will reward trademarks that distinguished themselves through market success, innovation and positive impact on consumers. The "Product and Service Quality Achievements Award " will recognize companies that demonstrate a constant commitment meet international quality management standards.

Also, this year's edition introduces special nominations for social entrepreneurship and for companies that support education through dual education. At the same time, an integrity award offered by the National Anticorruption Center will be given to companies that promote transparency and ethics in business.

The organizers noted that through these initiatives, they aim to support the development of a competitive business environment and to contribute to increasing the visibility of Moldovan brands both on the local and international markets.
