A 23-year-old man died in hospital this morning, some 24 hours after he caused his car to crash in Buzdugeni village, Edinet.
Edinet District Hospital director Anatolie Gutu told IPN the man had undergone two surgeries and doctors did everything they could to save the young man’s life.
The accident occurred on Monday early morning. The driver lost control over the car in a sharp turn and hit a fence. The impact was so violent that the car ricocheted into a tree before overturning.
One 21-year-old man died instantly. The driver and three other occupants of the car were taken to hospital, although one was discharged shortly. The condition of the admitted patients is stable, says Dr. Gutu.
