As many as 351 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Moldova on June 23 after doing 1,787 tests, 1,319 of which primary ones. Twenty-four of those diagnosed with the infection are healthcare workers, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, ten persons succumbed to the disease today, taking the death toll to 490.
Twenty-seven of the 476 patients in a serious state in the hospital were put on a ventilator.
A number of 193 infected persons got cured and were discharged from the hospital. A total of 8,212 persons recovered from COVID-19 so far.
The infections with the novel coronavirus came to 14,714, with 6,012 of these being active cases.
