Andrian Mardare ranks second at Prague tournament

Athlete Andrian Mardare had a good performance at an international tournament held in Prague. He ranked second, reaching a new national record, IPN reports.

Mardare threw the javelin at a distance of 84.43 meters, managing to improve his own result. Last year, the athlete trained by Valeriu Lungu broke the national record in javelin throw for four times. The goal of Andrian Mardare is to qualify for the 2020 Summer Tokyo Olympics.

The tournament in the Czech Republic was won by the representative of the host Jakub Vadlejch with the result of 89.0 meters.
