Independent candidate Andrei Năstase says that the position of President will give him the power to mobilize the state institutions to act in the interests of justice. In the election campaign launch event held in front of the Presidential Palace, he said that he will always remain dedicated to the tradition and family, to the care for children, who are now born abroad more than in the country, IPN reports.
“Together with my specialists, we worked out a realistic program. I tell you that we can get Moldova out of poverty with a budget made for the people, with strong industrialization of the economy, with large domestic and foreign investments and, as a result, providing money for pensions, salaries, better education, affordable and quality medical services,” said Andrei Năstase.
The candidate noted that his goal in this campaign is to interact with as many people as possible, to listen to them, to plan with them the future of the country. “For me, this campaign is about the present, about what we can do now for the country, about the solving of so many problems created by those who are now in power and who today promise us heaven on earth starting with 2030. My campaign is about real people, about their real concerns and problems, about the natural solutions of the present, which must be applied now, from 2024,” stated Andrei Năstase.
Independent candidate Andrei Năstase is under number 7 on the ballot. In 2020, he also ran for President, on behalf of the “Dignity and Truth Platform” Party. At that time, he obtained 3.26% of the poll or almost 44,000 votes.
