The PLDM, PDM and PL managed to come to terms and to form a ruling alliance, director of the Institute of Research and Political Consultancy “Politicon” Anatol Taranu said in the talk show “Place for dialogue” on Radio Moldova station, IPN reports.

“Judging by their behavior, I think the negotiations on the formation of an alliance are over. The three leaders announced they will hold consultations inside the political bureaus of their parties. But the leader of the PDM left a door open when he said that there are particular disagreements inside his party. I don’t think something will change radically. The political agreement on the formation of the alliance could be signed on July 21,” stated Anatol Taranu.

He considers that the sides also chose a candidate for premiership. “I don’t think the accord will be signed without agreeing a candidate for Prime Minister,” he said.

The director of “Politicon” believes that the leader of the PLDM Vlad Filat is a suitable candidate for the post of Premier. “Moldova faced serious economic crises three times. The first crisis was witnessed in 1998, when the Government was headed by Ion Sturza. Afterward, the post of Premier was held by Dumitru Braghis and the country then was also in a difficult situation and experienced a default. The people didn’t receive salaries during many months. Vlad Filat took up as head of Government in 2009, when the country also faced a serious economic and financial crisis. But he managed to cope. The foreign financing should be unblocked now. Vlad Filat has good relations in the West and I think he will succeed,” stated Anatol Taranu.
