The wrestling champion Anastasia Nichita has qualified for the 59 kg category final fight at the European Under-23 Championships, taking place in the Serbian city of Novi Sad, IPN reports.
The 20-year-old defeated the host country’s Anna Fabian (4-0) and Russia’s Zelfira Sadraddinova (10-0). In the final, Anastasia will duel Ukraine’s Anhelina Lysak.
Elsewhere at the Championships, Moldova’s Artium Deleanu took the Greco-Roman bronze in the 55 kg category, and Valentin Petic came in fifth in the 67 kg category after losing the bronze to Ukraine’s Artur Politaiev.
