Ana Ciuchitu won the silver medal at the European Youth Taekwondo Championship, which took place in Helsingborg, Sweden. In the final match of the 67 kg weight category, the 20-year-old wrestler lost to a Russian sportswoman.
"I am very disappointed that I lost the final match, as I was leading by 24-15. I hope I have learnt my lesson and won't repeat such mistakes. I will work harder to get better results", Ana Ciuchitu told IPN.
Last year, Ana Ciuchitu managed to win the gold medal at the European Youth Championship.
