Soul Street Dance, an American hip hop dance company, is touring Moldova the week of February 23-27. The group is funded by a grant from the U.S. government, the U.S. Embassy has said in a press release, quoted by IPN.
While in Moldova, the four members of the Houston-based dance company will engage with students at universities around the country, conduct workshops for dance groups, and perform publicly in Chisinau, Soroca, and Tiraspol.
Soul Street Dance’s program in Moldova is as follows: public performance at Palatul de Cultura in Tiraspol on Tuesday, public performance at the National Philharmonic in Chisinau on Wednesday, and public concert at Palatul de Cultura in Soroca on Thursday. All the performances start at 6 p.m.
Soul Street Dance has performed across the United States as well as internationally in Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.
