Health Minister Ala Nemerenco seeks the dismissal of the doctor who behaved aggressively in the house of a patient in Suruceni village of Ialoveni district. The ambulance doctor was filmed saying rude and threatening words and the video was published on social media. Shortly after the incident, an internal inquiry was initiated by the National Center for Prehospital Emergency Medical Assistance. In the meantime, the case is being investigated by the police, IPN reports.

"Such behavior is not appropriate for a healthcare worker," said Minister Nemerenco. She condemned the doctor's attitude and requested that she be dismissed.

Nemerenco stressed that "education, culture, dignity, empathy and respect for patients remain basic qualities, despite the harsh conditions in which ambulance doctors work."

The National Center for Prehospital Emergency Medical Assistance is conducting an internal inquiry to elucidate the circumstances of the Suruceni case. Th4e institution noted that it detaches itself from any behavior that goes against medical ethics and deontology in providing emergency medical assistance.

A simultaneous investigation is carried out by police officers who were called out by the ambulance crew to the scene of the incident.

In the video distributed on social media, a doctor speaks rudely to people who asked for urgent medical assistance. The doctor slams the door in front of the man who is filming and makes threats. She later complained on the phone that she had been physically assaulted.
