The leader of the National Alternative Movement (MAN), Ion Ceban, stated that the Alternativa bloc was created primarily in response to the demands and expectations of the people and will serve as the people's voice. According to him, the time has come for strong, professional, and capable political forces - those who can truly bring change to the country - to unite and work in the interest of the nation and its citizens.

"I know how tired each of you is of the promises made by those who have proven they are incapable, of manipulations, speculations, fearmongering, and the division of our people. We can no longer expect anything from them. We will not allow our votes to be stolen," the MAN leader declared at a press conference at IPN.

Ion Ceban emphasized that people, both within the country and abroad, expect results at home, and the teams within the Alternativa bloc are ready to deliver them and bring about real change.

"I am glad that people understand that endless complaints about failure or blaming others no longer work. That is why it is time to unite and take action. I want to thank our teams and tell them that together we are strong and we will succeed," the MAN leader added.

Today, MAN, the Party for Development and Consolidation of Moldova, the Collective Action Party "Civic Congress", and former Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo signed the agreement to establish the Alternativa bloc. According to the signatories, the agreement is based on a shared understanding that European integration is a path of development that must be pursued through truly democratic means for the benefit of the citizens.

The bloc's representatives stated that they will soon announce their public agenda. Their objective is to present citizens with a model for Moldova’s development - one that is created participatively, together with and for the people, serving the interests of Moldovans both at home and abroad.

"From this perspective, we will see the final level of public trust. We are aiming for a parliamentary majority so that we can fully and responsibly take on the act of governance and implement real change. This means both Parliament and Government because what is happening now can no longer be tolerated," Ion Ceban concluded.
