As from December 7, all the passengers older than 12 who fly to the UK are required to present the result of a PCR test or Antigen LFD test for COVID-19 done within 48 hours prior to departure. The announcement was placed by Air Moldova on its website.
The requirement was imposed in connection with the appearance of the new COVID-19 variant, Omicron, and applies even to the citizens who had been vaccinated with a full series.
The passengers who were or transited one of the countries from the ‘red zone’ list during the last ten days prior to departure to the UK cannot use flights landing at London Stansted Airport, where Air Moldova operates flights.
