Judoka Alin Bagrin has won a bronze medal at the European Judo Cup in Zagreb, Croatia. He competed in the +90 kg class, IPN reports.
Bagrin scored five victories and suffered a defeat. In the match for the bronze medal, the pupil of Igor Neagu beat Hungary’s Donat Varga. Richard Sipoczof of Hungary won gold in this weight class.
At the European Judo Cup in Zagreb, Moldova was also represented by Nicolae Bologa, Ion Iacub, Bogdan Jizdan, Stanislav Popaz, and Adelin Rusu.
