Boxers Alexandru Paraschiv (63.5 kg) and Daria Kozorez (+81 kg) have reached the final of the European Championships held in Belgrade, IPN reports.
They defeated Azerbaijan’s Malik Hasanov and Hungary’s Reka Hoffman. In the final, the two will meet Russian boxers Gabil Mamedov and Kristina Tkanev.
Another Moldavian boxer, Vasile Cebotari (71 kg), in the quarterfinals lost to Serbian Jovan Nikolic and won a bronze medal. The European Boxing Championships in Belgrade close on April 28.
